American Persimmon Tree
The American persimmon, is a slow-growing, deciduous tree native to the southeastern US. It can grow up to 80 ft tall and 25 ft wide, with an oval crown and a deep root system. The tree has thick, dark green, oval leaves that can turn orange or scarlet in fall. It produces sweet flowers and spherical berries containing 1–8 flat seeds.
