Black Sex Link Chicks
The Sex Link Hybrid is the result of crossing two heritage purebred poultry standard chicken breeds, the pedigree Rhode Island Red chicken rooster and the pedigree Barred Rock chicken hen. The baby chicks from this original cross are color sexable chicks. The grown roosters have faded barred with light colored neck hackle feathers. Grown pullets or hens are black with red mixed in their neck hackle feathers. These baby chicks look a little small but their short chick fuzz is deceiving as baby chicks.
