Alfalfa is high quality, chopped, dehydrated hay conveniently packaged in a plastic bag for you to pamper your horse while giving him consistent nutrients he needs. Alfalfa Hay is chopped in 1″ to 5″ in length making the alfalfa easy for the horses to chew, especially for the mature horse. There is very little waste which makes it more economical than the conventionally baled hay that can have up to 30% waste before consumed by the horse.
