CPVC Special Female Adapter (SLIP x FIP)
Used to adapt metal FIP threaded fittings to CPVC. A special elastomeric gasket ensures a leakproof seal. Hand tighten only. This fitting seals by means of a gasket. The use of joint compound or Teflon tape is neither necessary or recommended.
