Clover Seed, Arrowleaf/Yuchi
There are two primary varieties of Arrowleaf clover, Yuchi and Apache. Both are reseeding annuals similar to crimson clover in their growing requirements. Arrowleaf clover is the backbone of food plots in the southeastern USA and are an excellent companion crop when combined with grasses, grains, peas, and other wildlife food plot crops. Healthy stands can provide high quality cool season grazing for beef and dairy cattle. The flowers bloom from bottom to top and the flower head will continue to grow taller and produce more seed as long as growing conditions are good.
Plant in the fall, harvest in August and early September.
